Job Description
Fulcrum Consulting, an LRS company, is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager with our client in Raleigh, NC.
Our client is looking to bring on an experienced Senior IT Project Manager to lead the implementation of three contingent funding sources designed to strengthen liquidity resilience. Project Manager will drive cross-functional collaboration between technology teams, business stakeholders, and external vendors to deliver critical banking infrastructure on schedule.
Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end project delivery for three contingent funding products: Brokered CDs and Intrafi One Way Buy (in partnership with vendor FIS) and the Federal Reserve BIC program.
- Manage project scope, timelines, deliverables, and resource allocation across multiple workstreams
- Serve as primary liaison with FIS and Federal Reserve partners, ensuring alignment on requirements and tracking vendor performance
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, risk registers, and status documentation
- Prepare executive-level updates and present progress to senior leadership forums
- Coordinate between technology development teams and business stakeholders to resolve blockers and drive decisions
- Monitor project health, identify risks early, and implement corrective actions to maintain schedule and quality
Key Duties:
- Create detailed project schedules with clear milestones and success metrics
- Conduct business analysis to translate requirements across technical and business domains
- Facilitate stakeholder communication, translating complex technical concepts for business audiences and vice versa
- Manage scope discipline to prevent timeline drift and maintain delivery focus
- Track vendor deliverables and performance against contractual obligations
- Document lessons learned and project outcomes
Qualifications:
- Proven experience managing technical projects in financial services or regulated environments
- Strong executive presence and comfort presenting to senior leadership
- Demonstrated ability to manage vendor relationships and cross-organizational dependencies
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall)
- Experience with multiple concurrent projects
The base range for this contract position is $70.00 -$100.00 per hour, depending on experience. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
