Job Description
Codeworks, an LRS company, is seeking a Software Engineer who enjoys building modern applications, creating intuitive user experiences, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful solutions. This contract opportunity offers the chance to contribute to the ongoing evolution of the Concerto MR platform, with a primary focus on front-end development while working across the full technology stack.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, enhance, and maintain features for the Concerto MR platform.
- Build responsive, scalable, and user-friendly web applications using Angular and TypeScript.
- Collaborate with product owners, software engineers, and QA professionals to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Develop and consume REST APIs to support application functionality and integrations.
- Participate in architectural discussions, code reviews, testing, and troubleshooting activities.
- Support performance optimization, application reliability, and software quality initiatives.
- Contribute to CI/CD processes and modern software delivery practices.
- Assist with identifying and resolving technical issues throughout the development lifecycle.
- Support Agile development processes and continuous improvement efforts.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong experience developing applications using Angular and TypeScript.
- Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Full-stack development experience supporting modern web applications.
- Knowledge of software design principles, application architecture, testing methodologies, and Agile development practices.
- Experience using Git or similar source control systems.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a collaborative team environment.
- Experience with Java, Spring Boot, or microservices architectures is a plus.
- Experience working within healthcare, medical device, or other regulated software environments is preferred.
The base range for this contract position is $55.00 - $65.00 per hour, depending on experience. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all U.S. locations. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors.
