Responsibilities:
Project & Portfolio Management
- Lead end-to-end delivery of CRM and digital-transformation initiatives across multiple business units.
- Develop and maintain project charters, delivery plans, schedules, roadmaps, RAID logs, stakeholder maps, communication plans, and project governance materials.
- Manage scope, timeline, budget, resources, dependencies, risks, issues, assumptions, and change requests.
- Drive project teams to meet agreed commitments, resolve blockers, and escalate decisions or risks early.
- Coordinate project intake, prioritization, sequencing, and capacity planning across concurrent initiatives.
- Establish and manage project stage gates for discovery, design, build, testing, user acceptance, deployment, hypercare, and transition to support.
- Provide concise, accurate, and actionable status reporting to leadership and business stakeholders.
Agile Delivery
- Facilitate Agile delivery ceremonies, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, daily team coordination, sprint reviews, retrospectives, release planning, and stakeholder reviews.
- Partner with Product Owners and business stakeholders to ensure work is clearly defined, prioritized, sized, sequenced, and supported by measurable acceptance criteria.
- Manage Azure DevOps work items, including Epics, Features, User Stories, Tasks, Bugs, Test Cases, dependencies, and release scope.
- Maintain delivery traceability from business need through requirements, development, testing, approval, deployment, and support.
- Monitor sprint and release progress, team capacity, velocity, backlog health, delivery predictability, and impediments.
- Promote continuous improvement through retrospectives, delivery metrics, lessons learned, and process refinement.
- Help teams distinguish between defects, technical debt, stabilization work, enhancements, and new project scope.
Governance
- Ensure project teams follow agreed delivery standards, Definition of Done criteria, documentation expectations, testing practices, peer-review processes, and release controls.
- Coordinate business testing, UAT planning, test-case execution, defect triage, acceptance decisions, and deployment readiness.
- Facilitate go/no-go discussions and confirm required stakeholders have approved production deployments.
- Ensure deployment plans include communications, training, support ownership, hypercare coverage, known issues, rollback considerations, and post-deployment validation.
- Support the use of lightweight second set of eyes reviews for meaningful technical changes before testing or deployment.
- Track post-deployment issues and lead lessons-learned activities to improve future delivery.
Stakeholder & Vendor Management
- Serve as the central coordination point between business units, Product Owners, Solution Architects, CRM delivery resources, Corporate IT, cybersecurity, data/integration teams, and implementation partners.
- Lead project meetings, steering committees, working sessions, and stakeholder communications.
- Translate technical delivery information into clear business impacts, decisions, risks, and required actions.
- Manage external partner deliverables, timelines, dependencies, quality expectations, and escalation paths.
- Help business stakeholders understand MVP scope, stabilization periods, enhancement intake, and delivery tradeoffs.
- Build strong relationships while appropriately managing expectations, priorities, and change requests.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Business, Information Technology, Project Management, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
- 5+ years of experience managing enterprise technology, software, CRM, ERP, or digital-transformation projects.
- 2+ years of experience managing projects involving Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE, Dynamics CRM, and Power Platform.
- Demonstrated experience leading Agile, Scrum, hybrid Agile, or iterative delivery teams.
- Strong experience using Azure DevOps, Jira, or a comparable Agile delivery-management platform.
- Experience managing full project lifecycles, including discovery, requirements, planning, solution design, build, testing, UAT, deployment, hypercare, and support transition.
- Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects, competing priorities, cross-functional dependencies, and stakeholder expectations.
- Strong experience with project governance, RAID management, scope control, change management, executive reporting, and vendor coordination.
- Excellent facilitation, communication, organization, presentation, and follow-through skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- PMP, PMI-ACP, Certified ScrumMaster, SAFe, PRINCE2, or comparable project-management certification.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE, Power Platform, Dataverse, Power Apps, Power Automate, or Azure DevOps.
- Experience managing system implementations involving integrations, data migration, security, user adoption, and operational readiness.
- Experience working with third-party implementation partners, system integrators, and distributed delivery teams.
- Experience managing multi-business-unit, global, or enterprise-wide implementations.
- Familiarity with application lifecycle management, release planning, testing practices, deployment governance, and production support models.
- Experience in a manufacturing, industrial, distribution, or B2B environment.
The base range for this contract position is $55-$75 per hour, depending on experience; pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
