Job Description
LRS Consulting Services is seeking a Business Data Analyst for a contract opportunity with our client in Fort Worth, TX.
This position is dedicated to supporting reporting and analytics needs. The role enables enterprise decision-making by partnering with business leaders to identify analytics and reporting requirements, develop data products and reporting solutions, and deliver actionable insights. It also supports the advancement of analytics capabilities while ensuring alignment with enterprise data strategy, governance standards, and ongoing transformation initiatives to drive meaningful business value.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand analytic needs
- Deliver tailored end-user solutions that influence enterprise decisions
- Build partnership for ad-hoc analysis and data product development
- Compose insights and provide business data interpretation into a relatable presentation/story dependent on scope and audience
- Collaborate with Data Management to identify data gaps or need of data quality
Skills & Qualifications:
Education
- BA\BS required; MBA or MS or equivalent a plus
- Certifications related to Analytics (e.g., Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Alteryx, Tableau) preferred; Power BI Data Analyst Certification or Microsoft Fabric Analytics Engineer
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of applied experience in analytics, business analysis or comparable positions that handle large/complex data sets, developing metrics, and fostering business partner relationships
- Proficient with visualization & data story telling using tools such PowerBI/Fabric (preferred), Cognos
- Proficiency in SQL with knowledge of T-SQL and PL/SQL
- Proficient in advanced excel techniques and model development
- High communication skills are required to review, analyze, and evaluate user needs to effectively meet analysis requirements
- Requires excellent analytical ability, attention to detail, and proven ability to work independently and in a team
- Ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities and generate innovative solutions
- Demonstrated understanding in conceptual and logical data design
- Bank industry experience or Financial Institution experience
- Familiarity with source control tools such as Git
The base range for this contract position is $40 - $60 per hour, depending on experience. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
