Job Description

Codeworks, an LRS company, is seeking a Full Stack Drupal Developer for a contract opportunity. In this role, you will help build, maintain, and enhance high-impact, high-visibility Drupal websites. You will work collaboratively with technical and non-technical stakeholders to deliver accessible, user-centered digital experiences.

This position is a 100% remote, the applicant does need to reside in Wisconsin 
Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, deploy, maintain, test, and support Drupal-based websites
  • Build user-centered, accessible websites that meet WCAG 2.0 AA / Section 508 standards
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and translate requirements into functional solutions
  • Manage multiple projects and priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences
  • Contribute to troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving development issues
  • Participate in team collaboration, feedback, and continuous improvement efforts
  • Stay current with evolving technologies and best practices

Required Qualifications

  • Experience developing with Drupal (Drupal 7/8/9 or later)
  • Proficiency in PHP and familiarity with tools such as Drush, Composer, and Twig
  • Experience with Drupal site building, administration, and maintenance
  • Understanding of modern web technologies (HTML, CSS/SCSS, JavaScript)
  • Experience working in collaborative environments (e.g., Agile teams)
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience using version control systems such as Git

Additional Skills and Experience

  • Experience with Drupal migrations (e.g., Drupal 7 to newer versions)
  • Familiarity with Linux/Apache environments and SSL certificate management
  • Experience integrating authentication tools such as SSO or LDAP
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards and testing practices
  • Experience with UI/UX design, prototyping, or wireframing
  • Understanding of information architecture and content organization
  • Familiarity with SEO best practices and web analytics
  • Experience with common business tools (email, calendars, spreadsheets, etc

The base range for this contract position is $40.00 - $50.00 per hour, depending on experience. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all U.S. locations. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors.
