Job Description

Codeworks, an LRS company, is seeking a Data Warehouse Developer for a Contract opportunity. This role offers the chance to apply your skills in support of meaningful work for one of our client partners.

This role is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and implementing ETL solutions using Informatica IDMC. Key responsibilities include developing scalable, secure, and efficient data pipelines using Data Integration (DI), taskflows, mappings, parameter files, and reusable transformations. The role also supports metadata management, maintains data quality and integrity, and contributes to continuous improvement within the IDMC and data warehouse environment.

  • Knowledge of data warehouse best practice standards
  • Experience supporting PowerCenter to Informatica IDMC migrations
  • Experience designing, developing, and testing solutions using Informatica IDMC
  • Proficiency in writing, reviewing, and analyzing complex SQL queries across Oracle, DB2, and SQL Server environments
  • Hands-on experience using Control-M for job scheduling and workflow automation
  • Experience working with relational and dimensional data models
  • Experience working with slowly changing dimensions (SCDs)
  • Ability to identify, analyze, and address ETL and database query performance issues
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, including experience facilitating discussions with both technical and business stakeholders
  • Knowledge of the project development life cycle, including planning, analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and support
  • Experience gathering, documenting, and validating business and technical requirements
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively and contribute as part of a team
  • Experience working within large or complex organizations to support project outcomes
  • Ability to manage and contribute to short‑ and long‑term projects
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently while communicating progress, challenges, and support needs appropriately
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (including Outlook and Visio) and Jira
The base range for this contract position is $38.00 - $45.00 per hour, depending on experience. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all U.S. locations. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors.
