Job Description

Codeworks, an LRS company, is seeking a Business Analyst for a contract opportunity. This position supports thoughtful analysis, collaboration, and clear communication, and is well suited for candidates who value teamwork and structured problem‑solving. This role is fully remote, with work required to be performed within the State of Wisconsin


In this role, you will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to analyze business and system requirements, support data‑driven decision‑making, and contribute to system projects and policy‑related initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 3–5+ years of experience in a Business Analyst role supporting State Medicaid, MMIS, or comparable healthcare business systems
  • Experience in one or more of the following areas:
    • System project management and oversight
    • Data analysis and policy support
    • Cross‑team coordination and collaboration
  •  Experience with the system development life cycle, with skills in the areas of
    business requirements development and ensuring consistent quality.
  •  Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel, SAS Systems, Tableau, and/or other data
    analysis software.
  • Knowledge of research design methods, management reporting techniques, and
    statistics.
  • Knowledge of Medicaid and other health care program reporting and data.
  • Knowledge and ability to analyze large datasets and interpret results from statistical
    tools.
  • Knowledge of Federal Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act
    (HIPAA) regulations and transaction and data standards.
The base range for this contract position is $37.00 - $45.00 per hour, depending on experience. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all U.S. locations. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors.
