Job Description

Codeworks, an LRS company, is seeking a System Analyst contract opportunity. This role offers the chance to apply your skills in support of meaningful work for one of our client partners.

We are seeking a System Analyst to support cross‑functional teams through the analysis, documentation, testing, and delivery of technology solutions. This role requires experience in both Business Analysis (BA) and Quality Assurance (QA) and works closely with business stakeholders, development teams, and project partners throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Gather, document, and validate business and technical requirements
  • Support quality assurance activities including test planning, execution, and validation
  • Collaborate with business, development, and QA partners to align requirements and solutions
  • Create and maintain current‑state (“as‑is”) and future‑state (“to‑be”) process documentation
  • Develop and maintain project artifacts such as user stories, epics, features, and roadmaps
  • Use work management tools to track progress across the project lifecycle
  • Communicate project‑related information clearly with team members and stakeholders

Skills & Experience

  • 3 + years working as a Business Analyst
  • 3 + years  experience working as a Quality Assurance Analyst
  • 3 +  of experience using Azure DevOps or similar tools (such as JIRA), including managing epics, features, user stories, and workflow statuses
  • Experience working with and understanding the responsibilities of BA, QA, and development roles
  • Experience documenting business processes and supporting content creation
  • Experience contributing to or developing product roadmaps
  • Familiarity with Agile or other project management methodologies
  • Experience using business analysis tools such as Figma, Visio, or comparable tools
  • Ability to communicate information clearly and effectively in written and verbal formats
The base range for this contract position is $30.00 - $40.00 per hour, depending on experience. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all U.S. locations. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors.
