Fulcrum Consulting, an LRS company, is seeking a Senior Data Modeler with our client in Minneapolis, MN.

Our client is seeking a Senior Data Modeler who is responsible for defining and executing enterprise data strategy, with a focus on designing scalable, high-quality data models and integration frameworks. This role leads the development of conceptual, logical, and physical data models, ensures accurate data mapping and transformation, and establishes robust data architecture to support analytics and business operations - particularly for cost basis data domains.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and drive data strategy, approach, and integration architecture
• Perform data profiling and analyze existing vendor and internal datasets to identify relationships and data dependencies
• Develop and document data mapping requirements, including transformation logic and calculations
• Review and validate data mapping decisions with business and technical stakeholders
• Design and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models
• Create and manage canonical data models for cost basis data objects
• Define data entities, relationships, and object structures
• Develop entity-relationship diagrams (ERDs) and other data design artifacts
• Validate data models against existing data and business rules
• Define and implement data structures in target tables and RDBMS environments
• Create database objects, schemas, and supporting/helper tables
• Produce data flow diagrams and document end-to-end data movement
• Design and document data integration architecture
• Develop low-level design specifications for data solutions
• Ensure adherence to data governance, standards, and best practices

The base hourly range for this contract position is $80-$110 per hour, depending on experience. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all U.S. locations. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors.
