Job Description

Codeworks, an LRS company, is seeking a Data Migration Support Specialist for a contract opportunity. This role offers an excellent chance to apply your technical skills and contribute to meaningful, high‑impact work for one of our client partners.


This role supports a data migration project by handling large Excel and CSV training data sets. Responsibilities include data cleansing, validation, testing, and ensuring overall data accuracy and integrity. The position requires strong Excel skills—such as lookup functions, pivot tables, and basic string/date manipulation—and familiarity with O365 tools like Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive. Experience with relational data concepts, Power Query, or learning technology systems (e.g., LMS or Workday) is helpful but not required. The language is fully inclusive and welcoming to candidates from all backgrounds.

Data Migration Support

  • Assist with the migration of large training data sets in MS Excel and CSV formats.
  • Perform data cleansing tasks as directed by project leads.
  • Cross‑validate data to ensure accuracy and quality throughout the migration process.
  • Test and verify migrated data to confirm successful transfer and data integrity.
  • Utilize strong Excel skills, including basic string and date manipulation functions.
  • Apply lookup functions and create pivot tables for efficient data analysis.
  • Work effectively in an O365 environment, including MS Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
  • Handle large CSV data sets and ensure proper management with UTF character set compatibility.
The base range for this contract position is $45.00 - $55.00 per hour, depending on experience. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all U.S. locations. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors.
