Job Description
Codeworks, an LRS company, is seeking a Privacy Program Consultant for a Business Analyst opportunity. This role offers the chance to apply your expertise in privacy governance and cross‑functional collaboration in support of meaningful work for one of our client partners.
Will lead and operationalization of privacy program policies and processes that strengthen governance, compliance, and risk management across the agency. Working closely with the Division of Legal Services and the Division of Enterprise Technology, this role reports to the Lead Privacy Counsel and collaborates with the CIO, CISO, CTO, and Data Manager. The consultant will translate complex legal and technical concepts for diverse stakeholders, design and implement privacy processes aligned with frameworks such as GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, and NIST, and conduct activities such as privacy impact assessments and continuous program improvements.
Required Skills & Experience
- 8–10+ years of experience communicating with and engaging stakeholders at all organizational levels. This includes the ability to translate complex technical and legal concepts into clear, actionable information for business partners and decision‑makers.
- 8–10+ years of experience developing and implementing privacy program processes.
- Broad knowledge of privacy laws and regulations, such as GDPR, CCPA, and HIPAA, as well as familiarity with NIST Risk Management Frameworks (e.g., NIST RMF, NIST PF, NIST CSF).
- Experience in risk management, data governance, and compliance frameworks.
- Experience conducting privacy impact assessments and creating or enhancing privacy‑related processes.
- Experience managing projects and supporting strategic privacy initiatives.
