Job Description

Codeworks, an LRS company, is seeking a Test Automation Engineer for a Contract opportunity. This role offers the chance to leverage your automation expertise in support of meaningful and technically impactful work for one of our client partner.

This role supports both test automation and test execution activities, including program dry runs and formal verification and validation. Responsibilities include automating testing for CT software applications across a variety of platforms and technologies, such as:
  • Swing‑based desktop applications
  • Swing applications with embedded JxBrowser UI components
  • Web‑based applications

The automation technology stack includes:

  • Squish‑based UI automation using a BDD‑style test design
  • Selenium‑based web automation
  • Hybrid automation approaches integrating Squish and Selenium to support end‑to‑end workflows spanning desktop and web systems
  • Enhancing software requirements using CT domain and clinical workflow understanding
  • Developing additional Swing‑based Squish automated tests, including those using embedded JxBrowser components
  • Creating automated tests that integrate Squish and Selenium tools
  • Converting manual test cases into automated tests while aligning them with current test criteria
  • Managing and maintaining test case metadata
  • Executing automated tests continuously, investigating issues, addressing failures, and improving reliability
  • Increasing test efficiency, accuracy, and overall performance
  • Integrating testing processes and results reporting into existing tools and workflows
The base range for this contract position is $45.00 -$90.00 per hour, depending on experience. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all U.S. locations. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors.
