Job Description
Codeworks, an LRS company, is seeking a Desktop Support specialist for a contract opportunity. This position provides an opportunity to bring your advanced support skills to a team doing impactful work for one of our valued client partners
This position provides advanced technical support and contributes to the design, implementation, and improvement of IT services and processes. Candidates will apply their experience and judgment to plan and carry out a variety of technical and operational responsibilities.
Role Responsibilities
- Provide advanced technical support for desktop applications, hardware, and related technologies.
- Support, troubleshoot, and maintain desktop operating systems, applications, desktop and laptop hardware, printers, mobile devices (Android and iOS), and other supported wireless peripherals.
- Serve as an escalation point for complex support issues received from the help desk.
- Configure and administer the ITSM tool to support operational needs.
- Lead ITSM improvement initiatives aligned with ITIL and industry best practices.
- Share knowledge with colleagues by coaching and training technical support staff and IT team members in a collaborative and supportive manner.
- Assist in creating and implementing IT policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines.
- Maintain inclusive, respectful, and effective communication with staff at all levels.
- Work with a broad range of IT concepts, technologies, and operational practices.
- May provide guidance or direction to other team members when required.
