Job Description
Codeworks, an LRS company, is seeking a Sr. Procurement Analyst for a contract opportunity. This role offers the chance to apply your skills in support of meaningful work for one of our client partners.
The individual in this role will help manage vendor relationships, sourcing activities, and contract processes that support business objectives and ensure responsible stewardship of vendor partnerships.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Support the execution of processes and procedures across the full vendor lifecycle, including contract development, negotiation, execution, and post‑signature management.
- Partner with business stakeholders and functional leadership to identify opportunities for improved vendor management and sourcing practices that balance risk and maximize supplier value.
- Contribute to strategic sourcing efforts by supporting technology spend strategies and sourcing engagement plans. Lead or support RFx activities and negotiations for technology agreements (e.g., EULAs, SaaS, cloud services).
- Oversee aspects of contract lifecycle management, including evaluation, selection, transition, and ongoing monitoring of agreements.
- Support vendor risk management processes, ensuring appropriate levels of due diligence and collaboration with key stakeholders (e.g., Legal, Compliance, Data Privacy, Cybersecurity).
- Participate in vendor relationship management activities, including monitoring performance, addressing issues, developing improvement plans, preparing contingency strategies, and supporting disengagement when appropriate.
- Develop negotiation strategies using cost/benefit analysis, market research, and pricing insights; lead negotiation efforts with cross‑functional teams to achieve balanced outcomes.
- Help mitigate contractual, regulatory, and supply‑related risks by partnering with internal teams such as Legal, Compliance, Cybersecurity, and Audit.
- Build productive working relationships with cross‑functional partners across the organization. Promote collaboration, monitor partner satisfaction, and identify opportunities for shared value and process efficiency.
