The Global Managed Print Services (MPS) team supports and manages the global print solution and the printer fleet at all the locations. The scope of this position includes troubleshooting and supporting the existing printer fleet; coordinating rollout at new locations, lifecycle/replacement rollouts, and printer decommissioning; continuous team process improvement; coordinating requirements and activities between various MPS program stakeholders, including end-users, locations, departments/business units, other IT teams, and vendors; as well as generally supporting the MPS program, however needed. This role requires a blend of technical skills and project management expertise to support the MPS program globally. It involves working directly with vendors and partners, as well as occasional travel, after-hours work.
Job Responsibilities:
- Hands-On Printer Support & Troubleshooting: Provide support for a variety of printers, including multi-function, desktop, check, and industrial label printers, resolving issues directly and efficiently.
- Project Management for Rollouts & Lifecycle Coordination: Coordinate hands-on installations, replacements, and decommissions at the client locations, ensuring streamlined printer fleet management.
- Vendor & Partner Coordination: Act as the primary contact with vendors and partners, overseeing project tasks, addressing escalations, and holding regular calls to ensure alignment and address project issues.
- MPS Project Support: Manage key project tasks, escalate issues that impact timelines, and contribute to lifecycle and refresh planning.
- Process Improvement & Documentation: Continuously document and improve team processes, aligning with Print Smart guidelines for consistent printer and peripheral installations.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with the locations, IT teams, and end-users to implement projects and support high-level printer requests.
- User Training & Device Setup: Configure and test printers, train end-users on functionality, and support special printer requests and projects.
Requirements:
- Must have 3+ years in IT end-user support, particularly in printer support
- Must have 2+ years in project coordination or management.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, project tools, and advanced printer troubleshooting and configuration abilities.
- Project Management & Vendor Relations: Experience coordinating with vendors; skilled in managing project timelines and goals.
- Physical Requirements & Availability: Ability to lift 50+ pounds, flexibility for after-hours work, and occasional travel. Safety-oriented and able to work independently with senior guidance.
- Candidate must be able to effectively communicate in English (written & verbal)
