LRS Consulting Services is seeking an AI Developer for a hybrid onsite contract with our client in downtown Chicago, IL!

Responsibilities:

 

• Develop scalable, efficient AI/ML solutions utilizing AWS and Azure AI/ML services (e.g., Amazon SageMaker, Azure Machine Learning).
• Implement AI/ML algorithms, models, and frameworks tailored to application requirements and data characteristics.
• Design and manage robust data pipelines for AI/ML workloads, collaborating with data engineers and scientists.
• Leverage pre-built AI tools and packages to create customized RAG applications, enhancing capabilities for chatbots, document analysis, and image recognition. Model Development and Training:
• Develop, train, and optimize AI/ML models using cloud-based services (e.g., SageMaker Notebooks, Azure Machine Learning Notebooks).
• Perform testing and evaluation to ensure high model quality and performance, exploring different architectures and optimization methods.
• Employ distributed training and cloud-based GPUs for scalable, efficient model training. Model Deployment and Monitoring:
• Deploy AI/ML models to production environments on AWS and Azure using services like SageMaker Inference and Azure Machine Learning Deployments.
• Establish monitoring and automated retraining pipelines to ensure model accuracy and relevance over time.
• Optimize deployments for scalability, performance, and cost-efficiency, collaborating with DevOps on CI/CD pipelines.
• Build end-user applications, including RAG-based solutions for chatbots and document/image review systems.
• Integrate APIs and commercial AI tools to create functional, user-focused applications with an emphasis on productivity and ease of use.
• Utilize Co-pilot and similar tools to accelerate development and enhance application functionality.
• Provision and manage cloud resources (e.g., virtual machines, storage) for AI/ML workloads, following best practices for security, governance, and cost optimization.
• Monitor cloud-based AI/ML systems to ensure high availability, optimal performance, and prompt troubleshooting support. Collaboration and Communication:
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, software engineers, and business stakeholders, to align AI/ML solutions with business objectives.
• Effectively communicate technical concepts and project updates to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Contribute to the development and refinement of the organization’s AI/ML standards, best practices, and guidelines. Optional Advanced Topics:

Requirements:

 

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience developing and deploying AI/ML solutions on cloud platforms, including AWS and Azure.
• Hands-on experience with AWS (e.g., Amazon SageMaker, Amazon Rekognition) or Azure AI/ML services (e.g., Azure Cognitive Services).
• Proficiency in Python and experience with AI/ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
• Familiarity with RAG applications and Co-pilot tools.
• Proficiency in API integration preferred.
• Proficiency in containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) preferred.
• Knowledge of cloud infrastructure management, data pipelines, and preprocessing for AI/ML preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills and collaboration abilities.
