The Network Engineer will:
Perform Code Upgrades.
Perform site evaluations for new network designs to determine how many routers, switches are needed
Configure routers, switches, network devices- work with Sitehands when needed
Use of HPNA
Perform hardware upgrades/installs.
Update network design documentation using MS Visio diagrams and SharePoint.
Define networking environment designs and security standards.
Lead small teams to turn up sites
Participate in and follow industry organizations keeping up with emerging
security research.
Requirements:
1+ years of experience as a Network Engineer
Must be willing to work onsite in St. Louis 3 days per week, remotely for 2 days per week
Experience with Juniper preferred
Experience with the following:
Routing
Switching
IP Addressing and VLAN configuration
Candidate must be able to effectively communicate in English (written &
verbal)
