The Senior AWS Developer Day in the Life:
• Provide accurate estimates for development work
• Collaborate with team members in the areas of systems development and system support
• Provide recommendations to improve functional, technical, and architectural designs
• Proactively share knowledge on potential improvements to business and/or technology processes
You Should Have:
• Strong conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving ability
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Able to prioritize, organize and coordinate simultaneous tasks/projects
• Able to work with software vendors to solve application issues
• Provide recommendations to improve functional, technical, & architectural design
• Understanding of event-driven architectures
Requirements at a Senior Level Experience:
• Typescript/JavaScript and Node.js
• Object-oriented programming
• Asynchronous Typescript/JavaScript (Callbacks, Promises, async/await)
• Amazon Web Services (AWS) Lambda
• AWS SNS/SQS/API Gateway/S3
• AWS DynamoDB (or another NoSQL Database)
Even Better If You Have:
• Experience working with a Business Analyst and technical resources to define application development requirements
• Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) (CloudFormation, Secrets Manager, DynamoDB Single Table Design, CloudSearch, etc.)
• Experience with JavaScript technologies (Angular, React, jQuery, etc.)
• Experience with React-Native, Native Mobile technologies (Swift/Kotlin) or other Mobile frameworks
• Experience with Typescript, Serverless Framework, and Docker
• Ability to create effective application test plans that include use cases, regression tests, unit tests, and performance tests
• Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, Jasmine, WebDriverIO, etc.)
