Application Developer Responsibilities:
- Serve as a development lead and expert technical consultant for multiple business programs implementing and maintaining mission critical agency information systems using C#, .NET, SQL Server and Web Services.
- Identify solutions for complex technical problems in data analysis, application design and software programming.
- Provides support by working in partnership with business staff, business analysts, testers, developers, and other IT support staff to resolve the most complex technical challenges involved with meeting internal IT objectives.
- Lead and/or perform the work assigned to the development team by providing guidance, technical expertise, research, and ‘hand-on’ development.
- Mentor and assist others as well as perform the actual tasks and activities required to successfully complete team assignments.

Requirements:
- Three years minimum work experience at an advanced level in programming, system/program analysis and systems/database design.
- Work experience developing and maintaining applications using Microsoft Visual Studio (VB and/or C#), C#, .NET, .NET Core, Visual Basic, Microsoft Access, Microsoft Excel, and work experience in an Information Technology data processing environment.
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server or similar relational database.
- Experience at leading others in medium to large applications programming, systems analysis and design work efforts.
- Experience working with web services using XML and/or JSON.
